Sailing on the winds strong trying to tip me over
looking for a girl who will let me be her Casanova
she’ll be the best part of waking up my cup of Folgers
no matter whats on the agenda I just wanna hold her
warm her up when she’s cold and just clench her tight
the only object that’s in focus in my blurred sight
I want to treat her right but I’m not given the chance
I forget to bring my shoes whenever it’s time to dance
shit out of luck that’s how I often feel
at least I’m honest with myself and I can keep it real
she’s like a nail down my spine giving my body chills
I need her to remind me what it is to feel

The currents rough as I sail and from what I see
the waves ahead look as if they’re gonna swallow me

I’ve learned from the wrong steps and the mishaps
